A Complete History
Nerd Java: Our Story
Nerd Java began as a webisode YouTube series reviewing TV, movies, and games. One of our founders—a mom of two—was told she could no longer drink coffee because of IBS and acid issues. We dove into researching alternative roasting methods. After discovering a technique that allowed Charity to enjoy coffee again, we realized many others might share this struggle. Inspired, we transformed Nerd Java into a full-fledged business.
Nerd Java Aims To...
1. Be a brand that cares about where our Coffee Beans come from. All our beans are fair trade, ethically sourced, and from family farms attempting to eradicate poverty in their respective regions.
2. Create coffee flavors that complement the natural notes of the specialty coffee beans.
3. Experiment with roasting techniques to bring out the best possible notes of the natural beans.
Nerd Java: The Concept
The original goal was to find fun, nerdy flavors that bring out the Nerd in all of us, but quickly bloomed into the team learning the ins and outs of roasting, bean flavoring, and bean combinations.

YES! Thanks to our growing customer base in our local community, we have expanded to ship nationwide.
We provide freshly roasted coffee beans and flavors. There may be a slight delay due to our small-batch & fresh approach.
If you would like to pick up your order at an event, we would love to see you in person and have you try some of our amazing coffee samples. Just leave us a note in the comments of the order, and we will hold onto your beans until the event.
Please do not worry, if you cannot make it to the IRL event that you pre-ordered for, your bag of coffee is still ready. Just contact us and we will work with you to meet at a different event, or ship your coffee instead.
